Terry demonstrates the AT (nose to base of tail) measurement with this squirrel form.
Tammy photographs as Terry demonstrates measuring for a whitetail deer (gamehead) shoulder form, squirrel form, life size raccoon (mammal) form, Quality Taxidermy Supply's True-to-Life largemouth bass form.
A--Nose to Eye If you are not comfortable with eye balling out the nose to eye measurement as shown, you can use calipers from the corner of the eye to the center of the nose to get your measurement, but an 1/8 " difference one way or the other isn't going to make any difference.
C--Behind the ears, in some parts of the country this is called "at the cinch".
D--3" down
M--circumference around middle of body.
The same measurement codes will be shown on this raccoon form.
